What we do – Leading Change and Culture

Keynote Addresses and MC Services
Rob Sams is an experienced keynote speaker and Master of Ceremonies, available for conferences, forums, community events and leadership gatherings across Australia.
As the author of Social Sensemaking and a leader with deep experience in the community sector, mental health and suicide prevention, Rob brings warmth, humility and story-telling to the stage. His keynotes explore how people make sense of risk, why connection matters more than “fixing”, and what it means to lead in community — with community, for community.
Popular keynote themes include:
- Social sensemaking — how we understand and discern risk
- People are not problems to be solved — leadership in mental health and suicide prevention
- I’m biased, and that’s ok — decision making in community leadership
- Leading with “we” rather than “me”
As MC, Rob creates a relaxed, inclusive atmosphere that keeps events flowing while making space for the conversations that matter. He is equally at home hosting sector conferences, community celebrations and organisational events.

Leadership and Culture
Dolphyn offer a wide range of services that can support your organisation to better deal with risk and become more resilient. Many of our programs are based on methodology informed by social psychology and focus on leadership capability, culture, risk discernment, communication and engagement.
We are a small and nimble organisation, and we focus on developing and delivering programs that suit your organisation. We offer flexibility and customisation because we know that all organisations and people are different.
While we have listed some of our programs here on the website, if you would like to learn more about what we do and how we go about it, drop us a line or call.
We’d be happy to talk through an approach that would suit your needs.
